I also recommend Tuta Mail although it is in the clearnet. They have a pretty good track record as a privacy-friendly email, they just got post quantum cryptography which is pretty cool. It's free, you can make an account in tor (You do have to wait 48 hours and send an email to their staff for verification though), and it's private. I use it with an email masker like SimpleLogin too.

If you're doing illegall things like buying or selling I don't suggest protonmail because they give out user data to fedral authorities like FBI, CIA, DEA, so instead you can use other actually anonymous email providers like

- DNMX Mail

- RiseUp Mail

- Squirrel mail

- Anonymous email
